Tasting Notes: Blueberry, Blackberry and Fig
This beautiful Pacamara coffee comes to us from Finca La Hermosa. This exceptional farm is nestled in Acatenango, Guatemala. Max Perez the owner stumbled on what was an abandoned and overgrown farm. His Mom told him it should be called La Hermosa which is Spanish for beautiful. He couldn't tell his Mom no, so Finca La Hermosa was born. Max came from a 5th generation coffee farming family, but was starting from scratch. In 10 years he has built a wet mill and began producing Cup of Excellence level coffees. This shows his work ethic as well as his ability to work with people. He's incredibly humble and genuinely seeks to benefit others around him. We are very lucky to have the opportunity to roast his beautiful coffees and share the them with you.
