This coffee comes to us from a cooperative of farmers from the Amazonas region of Peru near the city of Jaen. The farmers here are descendants of the Chillaos people who once called this region of the Amazon their home. They have been working this land for generations and take great pride in the coffee they grow. This coffee is a mix of three varietals, Caturra, Typica and Catimor. This assortment of varieties gives this coffee sweet notes of pear and honey upfront and a sweet cream finish.
