Single Origin/IWCA + Women Care Certified
Notes: Tropical fruit & honeysuckle
Cloza Estate is a 4th-Generation family farming and micro mill operation located in the Naranjo and Alajuela regions. Dedicated to growing and processing specialty coffee since 1970, they produce microlots in three family plots. Since 2001, Kathia Zamora has managed the farm and she is a member of IWCA (International Women Coffee Alliance) where she serves on the board of directors. Her farm obtained the Women Care Certification, representing the family commitment to supporting the empowerment of women in the coffee industry. While running the farms she has improved the quality of their coffee by planting new varieties, and updating facilities and processing techniques. The pacamara is a new varietal for Cloza and we are very excited to share it with you. Cloza is one of the Costa Rica coffees that we import from The Farmers Project Costa Rica. We taste the subtle sweetness of tropical fruit and a honeysuckle finish.
