This beautiful natural coffee comes to us from the Rama Dufatanemunda, a pioneering women's empowerment group fighting for women's rights to own land and have autonomy over the coffees they grow. Marie-Annonciate began mobilizing other women in her Ngozi community and although they have not been able to change laws that still don't allow women to own land, they were able to lease land and begin growing and producing their own lots. This coffee is Impact verified meaning it is responsibly sourced helping farming families grow resilience and boost their incomes. We are excited to work with and support this group of women and bring this beautiful coffee to your cup.
