This coffee comes from the Halo Beriti washing station in Yirgacheffe. This region has been growing coffee in small family lots for many generations. 1500 small holders bring their harvest to the washing station where it is float cleaned and then dried in the sun for 15-21 days. Regular turning of the cherries ensure an even drying process. The owners of the mill Abeyot Ageze and Mebrahtu Aynalem are very committed to the farmers of the area, they provide education and work with each farm individually to make sure they get the best price for their coffees. Mebrahtu emphasizes the importance of community so that everyone succeeds.
