We are very excited to support Dona Bernardina and her family farm. She has been in coffee for over thirty years and is a single mother to six children after she lost her husband seven years ago. Four of her children work with her on the farm and two are away at college. She has through her hard work and determination been able to increase productivity and expand future opportunities for her children. She became part of the LIFT program in 2019 which teaches local farmers how to implement more environmentally friendly practices and improve their coffee quality. She is a strong and determined woman who continues to thrive and blossom in spite of all the adversities she has faced.
